I may not see in front of me, But I can see for miles around when I look over my shoulder, and Lord, it`s clear. You`ve brought me here, So faithful every step of the way. What can I do but follow you, For You are the Way, the Truth, the Life, And You`ve promised never to leave me, My Savior, my friend, From beginning to end.

I Am Found In You by Steven Curtis Chapman
A Good Testimony
By: Ron Edmondson Wednesday, October 08, 1997
He and all his family were devout and God-fearing, he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. Acts 10:2 NIV

Have you ever been looking at a passage of scripture and, even though you have read through the Bible many times, you read this one verse and think: where has that one been? It seems like that passage was not in there the last time you read it.

Read through Acts 10 again. What a testimony! He and all his family were devout and God-fearing, he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. What else could you ask for? Talk about making your Pastor proud! Cornelius was a Godly man. As a result, God called upon Cornelius. The family of Cornelius was blessed. All those around Cornelius were blessed because of his faithfulness.

Now, how about you? Let's pretend they were writing Acts 10 verse 1 and 2 again today:

At ____(your city)____ there was a man (or woman) named ____(your name)___, a _____(your occupation)____ . He and all his/her family were ______________(finish verse 2)_________.

What do you want said of you? Go ahead. Fill in the blanks. They won't be re-writing the book of Acts, but your testimony is being written. What does it say?

Tell your friends about this ministry. Why not forward a copy of the email to those you think might benefit from reading a Mustard Seed? Some churches use it as a supplement to their discipleship program. Perhaps your church would be interested in doing this. All I ask is that credit be given to the ministry.
