For ChristWeb to be good stewards of our email addresses, we have implemented several protections to ensure that every email is delivered, and properly delivered to those who want to receive it. While many people don’t care about the details of how this works, we feel it is important to make it available for those people who want know.Address Collection
ChristWeb never purchases lists of addresses. For us the goal is not how many emails we send, but that the email is sent to those who want it. To receive any of ChristWeb’s devotionals, articles, or newsletters, someone must use the Validation Email processes to ensure ownership/access to an email account. Email Tracking
ChristWeb values both your email service provider and our service provider. Every email send from ChristWeb includes a tracking link. This tracking information let's us know you are getting the email and opening it. While some people may feel this is intrusive, it is really simply good email management. If we are sending emails and they keep bouncing (failure to deliver), then we need to stop. If we are sending emails and someone is not opening and reading them, then we should stop. We, just like you, get tons of emails that we won't want, and forget to every say "stop". Therefore, we attempt to infer a stop.
We are constantly evaluating our delivery attempts, email bounce-backs, email open notification, and click-throughs to our Web site. Our evaluation process allows ChristWeb to keep our email list free of “bad email addresses”. Information Sharing
ChristWeb does not share, sell, or give away any email addresses, individually or collectively. We simply don’t give out your address. We believe you shared your email address with use for a specific reason, and if we shared it with others, we feel this would violate your intent. Email Self-Management
ChristWeb’s MyAccount allows you to control what you see and get from ChristWeb. We know you don’t want to get email you didn’t ask for, therefore we allow you to say what you want, and don’t want.
Thank you taking the time to read our Email Use Policy. If you still have concerns about ChristWeb’s use of your email address, you may contact us by using the Contact Us
